2011 Advocate Colins Imoh of Nigeria participated in the webinar Peace Education and the Pandemic: Global Perspectives sponsored by the Global Campaign for Peace Education. Colins focused his talk, Educating for Peace in a Frightened World, on the “need to focus on the big picture of solidarity, which is what peace education is all about.” Colins is currently an adjunct faculty member in the Division of Criminal Justice at California State University.

NEW YORK — The first two weeks of April the Columbia University Institute for the Study of Human Rights (through its Indigenous Peoples Rights Program) held an online three-day seminar titled “Indigenous Women Leaders at Columbia.” The virtual seminar is part of the 7th annual Global Leadership School of Indigenous Women program.
